Preview Party
This year Representative Jean Preston
is the Honorary Chairperson of the
Gala Preview Party on Friday May 20, 2005
at the Best Home on S. 19th St.
[featured on the 2004 tour]
Tickets available by invitation only.
Catering by Windansea Restaurant.
Performance by Dance By the Sea.

Authentic Promise' Land Dinner
An authentic "Promise' Land dinner" will be
served at the Curb Market from noon to 3pm.

This meal will be catered by Charles Park,
chef & owner of Shepard's Point Restaurant,
using recipes adapted from the Promised Land Cookbook. The menu includes:
Kitty's Seafood Tartlet with Marinated
Vegetables; Chicken and Pastry;
Carolyn and Beverly's Fried Cabbage
& Black-Eyed Peas; Cracklin' Bread;
Peanut Butter Cookies.


Tickets for this dinner can be
purchased in advance for $12 each or
$15 on the day of the tour.

for Tour Participants at Unitarian Church
1300 Evans Street across from the Curb Market
An exhibit of local artist Tom Willis' acrylic coastal scenes will be on display in the Social Hall, as well as work by other local artists throughout the church.

Art Show and Sale
Throughout the weekend of the tour,
the work of local & other North Carolina artists
will be on display and available for purchase
at the home of Pat and Charles Sharpe,
at 1810 Evans St.
